Past Turnings

Box from Mountain Hemlock. I brought this wood down from tree-line in the mountains above Sitka, Alaska. These trees grew in the stunted growth form known as krumholz formation. These trees are very old and slow growing. I obtained the wood from the leavings of trail maintainance.
