Tool storage seems to be a popular item of interest, so I thought I'd show what I do. I have used some variation of these racks since I started turning. I don't do high volume turning, so do dont mind a couple of steps to get a tool. The racks are self explanatory (I think) and time tested. They do gather dust and shavings, but I don't really care about that and it only takes a blast from the air gun to clean them (with the air cleaner on). The board on the wall has made several moves with me and undergone varous configuration changes. It now houses my chucks and rests.
