Shop and Jigs

This shows the rig I devised for the Moffat light. The arm pivots to allow greater flexibility in postioning. I also mounted the vacuum gauge on this arm. The vacuum pump is mounted inside the base of the lathe. I added a switch on the front of the lathe by the variable speed controls that turns the pump on. I obtained my pump from William Nobel and the setup ideas from various sources.
